The Quiet Storm.

He's always been quiet. Not that he didn't have anything to say, he just wants to be in the moment. When DJ first got here, he was excited, and terrified. The Bears that met him at the airport, Justin Fields. That was important to him, coming to a new city, the business side of football is the trade, the personal side of football is moving your entire family, at a moments notice.

He's always been quiet, but the smile says a lot. He had four quarterbacks during his tenure with The Carolina Panthers. Building a repore would be hard even for the first reciever taken in his draft. Yet there was this quiet professionalism. This perseverance. This determination.

He's always been quiet, until he hits the field.

This year, his new teammates saw something, having never played a snap, they voted him co-captain. Something he didn't take lightly, he's never been captain before. He doesn't lead with ra-ra speeches or boisterous bravado. He's probably the opposite of all of that, but they saw something, not in what he said, but what he did.

Now we get to witness the beginning of a new era in Chicago Football, this calmness under fire, this poise under pressure, this quiet confidence. Get ready Chicago, let's enjoy the ride.

Chicago vs Everybody.
