This has been, for the most part, an entertaining, albeit, a regrettable season. I know this sounds unrealistic, but if we coached complimentary football, as opposed to untrustworthy football, those three games we collapsed in would have us at 9-6. Hell, if Justin plays against New Orleans, that makes us 10-5.
That's how close we are.
That's why I don't understand the many resetting the clock, draft a quarterback posts. Fans have given in to the negative narratives from analysts and pundits. But what's in front of you is not stats, it's growth. Perhaps they've grown weary, please don't post the win/loss record, ever again.
So what if I told you, you could draft Randy Moss with the first pick. Or Terrell Owens. Or Jerry Rice. Do you still want one of these mercurial quarterbacks? I need everyone to sit down for this. Marvin Harrison Jr. Will be just that. And In his second year, he will be the best receiver in the league, and he will have a Hall of Fame career. Now before you throw the Justin Jefferson, JaMarr Chase, Tyrique Hill recievers at me... think on that. Because if you put him on any of those teams, think on that too. There isn't a route he can't run. Slants, digs, outs, go's, fade's, hitches, backshoulder, hell, even screens. So, if you had the opportunity to inject that level of talent and confidence into your locker room. What would you do, draft a quarterback?
Remember, we should be 10-5 without him, imagine if he was here.
